THE Dawlish Virtual Easter Bonnet Parade 2021 has been launched.

People of all ages have been invited to enter by Dawlish mayor Alison Foden.

Alison said: ‘Create an Easter bonnet and then send in a digital photo of you weaing it to [email protected].’

A Virtual Dawlish Easter Parade will be created and the judges will include the mayor.

Prizes will be awarded to the best bonnet creations and the closing date is Wednesday, March 31.

Dawlish Town Council stresses that anyone under the age of 16 must get the permission of their parent or guardian to enter and for the photo to be published you should include their contact details.

Alison added: ‘I’m sure people will already aware of the events that have been adapted to virtual events in the last year – the Virtual Dawlish in Bloom, and the very recent Luke Wavewalker story-telling competition, to name just two of them.

‘This week the Dawlish Virtual Easter Bonnet Parade was launched, please send in your entries.’
