TEIGNMOUTH RNLI is one of four Devon-based charities selected to be official partners for this year’s Powderham music festival.

TK Maxx presents Live At Powderham will run for four nights from Thursday June 25 to Sunday June 28, featuring headline shows from vocal powerhouse Teddy Swims, seven-time GRAMMY winner Alanis Morissette and global superstar Lewis Capaldi.

Each night will see a local charity given the opportunity to have a team of fundraisers on site and for 2026 Live At Powderham will support Devon-based charities who make a big impact in the communities they serve.

The charities selected for 2026 and the nights they will partner are: RNLI Teignmouth on June 25, Rowcroft Hospice on June 26, Exeter Chiefs Foundation on June 27 and RMA The Royal Marines on June 28

The four successful charities will have a team of fundraisers on site collecting monetary donations as well as using the opportunity to raise their profile.

Wendy Richards Wood, fundraising chairman for Teignmouth RNLI, said: 'Community support is at the heart of everything we do.

‘Events like this not only bring people together but also help raise the essential funds that keep our lifesaving service running.

‘Every contribution makes a real difference and helps ensure our crews can continue to respond whenever they are needed.’

Taking place at Powderham Castle estate, TK Maxx presents Live At Powderham is organised by Live Nation promoters Cuffe and Taylor, known for curating world-class events in unique locations.

Cuffe and Taylor co-founder Peter Taylor said: ‘We are delighted to be announcing these four incredible charities as our partners for TK Maxx presents Live At Powderham.

‘They are all organisations which make a real difference to people’s lives and who work hard to support the local communities across South Devon and beyond.

‘We have four incredible nights of live music lined up, and I really hope the audiences heading to Powderham this summer support our charity partners as much as they can.’

Lisa Whittaker, corporate fundraiser, Rowcroft Hospice said: ‘We’re delighted to have been chosen as one of the beneficiary charities for Live At Powderham 2026.

‘As a vital part of the local community, this will bring a real sense of pride to our patients, families, volunteers and supporters.

‘This event will also help us reach new audiences, supporting us to make every day the best it can be and enabling families to share precious moments.’

RMA The Royal Marines Charity’s director of communications Caroline Casey said: ‘This is really special for us as we are based just across the water at Commando Training Centre, where every single Royal Marine starts their training and returns to throughout their career.

‘It’s about more than fundraising, but also about raising awareness of the realities faced by serving personnel, veterans and their families.’
