LIVE auditions start this weekend for the hopefuls wanting to claim first prize in Newton’s Got Talent.

If you would like to audition live at The Avenue Church, Newton Abbot, you should fill out the application form below and return it to the Mid-Devon Advertiser by the end of today or, alternatively, call organiser Cllr Gordon Hook on 01626 362070 or 07779 224467.

If people still want to enter after this weekend’s live auditions they can apply online by uploading your audition video to the Newton’s Got Talent Facebook page or fill in the form .

The Avenue Church is on standby for another live audition day depending on the number of applicants.

Deadline for all entries is February 12 with a shortlist being published in the Mid-Devon Advertiser on February 19.

When it comes to the selection process, the judges’ decision is final but you can show your support by liking the audition video of your favourite act on the Facebook page.

The final is to be held at the Bushell Theatre, Coombeshead Academy, Newton Abbot, on Thursday, February 25.
