POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a serious road traffic collision in a South Devon town.
Emergency services were called at around 6.20pm on Monday, April 28, to Winner Hill Road in Paignton where it was reported that a collision had occurred involving a Grey Vauxhall Van and a pedestrian.
The pedestrian, a man in his 60s, was taken to hospital with serious injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening.
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: ‘Officers from the Roads Policing team would like to thank the public for their patience whilst the road was closed for the investigation to be carried out.
