A MAN suffered a head injury after his car rolled in a country lane near Abbotskerswell on Tuesday evening.

Emergency services dashed to Priory Road at 5.45pm to reports of a one vehicle crash.

The car had overturned and become wedged – blocking the narrow lane.

Recovery work was carried out and the lane was reopened by 9pm.

The casualty was taken to hospital as a precaution.
