A MAN was rescued after being trapped under logs in a ditch in the Teign Valley.
Paramedics and firefighters attended the scene of the accident near Lower Hole farmhouse in Bridford at 6pm on Saturday.
A fire crew from Moretonhampstead used a short extension ladder to get to the 40-year-old casualty who had suffered a suspected broken leg.
He was taken by ambulance to the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital at Wonford.
The Devon Air Ambulance also attended the scene, but its services were not required.
