RESIDENTS are being invited to a meeting to discuss the future of public toilet facilities in Shaldon.

Shaldon Parish Council says Teignbridge District Council has confirmed it has no plans to continue providing public toilets in the village from April 2027.

The district council has instead invited the parish council to consider taking responsibility for the facilities.

The meeting will take place at 7pm on Thursday, September 10, at Victoria Hall in Bridge Road.

Residents of Shaldon and Ringmore will be given further information about the proposals, including how future toilet provision could be financed.

Parish councillors will also invite feedback from those attending.

The meeting is open to everyone, with residents encouraged to attend and have their say on the future of the facilities.
