In 2023, Teignbridge’s average rent was £894, up from £828 in 2022, £774 in 2021 and £727 in 2020.
Mid Devon saw a 2.9% increase, while Exeter saw a 6.1% increase and South Hams 3.7%.
Over the country, the number of homes available to rent in the UK has fallen by over a third over the past six months, pushing rents up by 11%.
