A CHUDLEIGH holiday park is looking to expand as it submits an application for additional lodges.

As part of its ongoing upgrade programme, Finlake Resort has submitted an application - reference 26/00086/FUL seeking permission for five holiday lodges.

‘The proposal will create a high quality tourism development, widening the range and style of holiday accommodation available to visitors to Teignbridge, bringing economic benefits to the local area and the region’, the planning, design and access statement for 26/00086/FUL says.

A large reinvestment programme has been ongoing at Finlake over the past seven years, with more than £20 million having been spent on new facilities, as well as upgrading existing facilities.

Teignbridge District Council are due to make a decision by March 20.
