THREE young people have been arrested after reports of assaults in the Newton Abbot area in which the suspects were children.

Formal identification by police has led to three young people being arrested, interviewed, and bailed with robust conditions.

The conditions include non-association and curfew restrictions.

A spokesperson for the Newton Abbot Policing Team said: ‘Enquiries remain ongoing and we will continue to work with the community safety team, the Anti-social Behaviour officer and the police vulnerability lawyer as we seek further sanctions to prevent poor behaviour.

‘Please continue to report incidents via 999 in case of an emergency, or through 101 or our website for non-emergency’.
