A PHOTOGRAPHY student from Newton Abbot was caught up in the night of terror in Paris which left 129 people dead.
Former Coombeshead Academy student Zoe Griffin and friends were evacuated from a city Metro train as the devastating terrorist attacks happened not far away.
Zoe, with eight others from the University of East London, was in the capital to visit a photography exhibition at the landmark Grand Palais.
She said after the Friday the 13 drama: ‘The tragedy was so shocking and such a surreal thing to be part of.
‘I was marking myself “safe” in a terror attack on Facebook to let all my friends and family know.
‘It’s the last thing I expected to be doing when I left London for Paris.’
