NEWTON Abbot Town Council is having difficulty finding sponsors for this year’s Sunday band concerts in Courtenay Park and is on the lookout for a main one.

That would involve backing of around £1,000.

The first concert of the year is on May 15, featuring the Spectrum Music Concert Wind Band.

The concerts, which begin at 2.30pm, take place once a month up to and including September.
