A PARISH Council is set to open its grant application process for local organisations aiming to benefit the community.
Shaldon Parish Council can make funds available to local organisations for the overall benefit of Shaldon and its residents.
The grant award policy is designed to provide support to local not-for-profit groups, charitable or volunteer organisations or worthy causes delivering services to the community of Shaldon.
Grant applications will only be considered if the application form is completed and obtained from the parish clerk at [email protected] or, from April 30 to May 11 to [email protected] as the clerk is on holiday.
The following organisations are eligible to apply:
• Shaldon-based charities, clubs, associations, groups or other organisations whose activities benefit the Shaldon community;
• Local branches of regional or national charities, clubs, associations, groups or other organisations whose activities benefit the Shaldon community.
For further details regarding eligibility, conditions of a grant and what factors will be considered as part of the decision making, visit Shaldon Parish Council’s website.
Applications are considered at Full Council meetings in November and May, and the deadline for May applications is May 21.
