THE next stage of the Restoring Stover Park project will see parts of the car park closed to allow for improvements to be made.

The work, which is due to start on June 30, will include the creation of additional spaces, enhancements to accessible parking and the relocation of the two ticket machines.

There will still be parking throughout the duration of the work, which is anticipated to last until August 8, but it will be limited, especially during busy periods.

‘We are very sorry for any inconvenience caused’ the team at Stover Country Park said.

The Restoring Stover Park Project has been made possible thanks to a grant of £2,084,600 from The National Lottery Heritage Fund, together with grants from several other organisations.
