A POLICEMAN on a Penny Farthing was one of the eye-catching sights in Dawlish for this year’s Vintage Cycle Ride.
Cyclists taking part wore suitable costumes including flat caps and vintage dresses for the annual event.
Riders took a route through the town’s scenery, starting at the Lawn and heading to Luscombe Castle before returning to the Manor House and Riverside Centre for a cream tea.
After the refreshment stop, the cyclists were back in the saddle to continue the ride on to Powderham before finishing at the Turn the Tide 2026 Festival held this year at Dawlish College.
