A new cricket pavilion in Teignmouth and extra hours opening at a bike superstore cafe are among this week’s planning applications.

The Shaldon Optimists Cricket Club has put in an application for a new cricket pavilion to replace their existing temporary clubhouse. Their current clubhouse is a series of individual temporary structures overlooking the cricket pitch.

The Partridge Cycles Superstore at Kenn Centre, Kennford, has also applied to extend its cafe opening hours on Mondays to Thursday and on Sundays from 7am to 10pm and from 7am to 11pm on Fridays and Saturdays. They also want to build an extension for toilets.
