POLICE are appealing for information following the theft of a hydraulic hammer breaker from Dawlish.

The hydraulic hammer breaker/pecker, which is a RAW 400 - 8 tonne and orange in colour, was stolen from the area of Elm Grove Drive on Monday, February 9.

A spokesperson for Devon & Cornwall Police said: ‘Anyone with any information is asked to please contact us via our website or by calling 101 quoting reference number 50260033703.

‘Please be aware of any suspicious activity on your farm/land, utilising CCTV, lighting, locked gates, and additional checks on your equipment.

‘Please report any suspicious incidents to Police on 999.
