A MAN in his 60s has been arrested by police in Teignmouth following an incident involving an imitation firearm.
Police were called to Queen Street at around 8.55pm on Saturday, May 30, following reports of an assault.
It was also reported that a firearm had been present and threats had been made during the incident.
Armed officers attended the scene and arrested a man on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent, affray, and possession of an imitation firearm.
Devon & Cornwall Police said the victim suffered a cut to the face.
A non-viable firearm was recovered at the scene.
The suspect has since been released on police bail while enquiries continue.
