It was another Lib Dem gain for the Teignmouth West ward. David Cox and Nina Jeffries won the two seats. David Cox retained his seat and Nina took the seat from Tory David Matthews.
Nina Jeffries said: ‘People want a change. We’ve campaigned really hard, been transparent and let people know what we’re about. I think we’re what people want to see.
It’s Nina’s first time as a councillor.
She added: ‘I’m interested in a lot of community issues and wanted to do something a bit different. Instead of just moaning I wanted to do something about it.’
