SCORES of protestors – and a polar bear – braved the elements on Dartmoor to show their solidarity on Climate Change Day on Sunday.

While thousands marched across London and other cities worldwide, residents from Ashburton and Buckfastleigh walked together from their towns along the Two Moors Way to Crockern Tor.

The demonstrations were held to coincide with the start of the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Paris this week.

Global leaders are meeting to discuss ways to slow down the effects of climate change on the world’s population, including polar bears.
