PLANS to shut Teignmouth Hospital and the town’s GP surgeries have been revealed today.

In their place will be one central ‘Health and Wellbeing Centre’ in a proposal made public by the Devon Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG).

A single proposal – revealed for the first time today – would see the closure of the historic Teignmouth Community Hospital, some services moved to Dawlish and closing the town’s GP practices to bring them together under one roof.
