A CPR training session impressed pupils at Coombeshead Academy so much, they decided to raise some money for the charity that organised it.
Jay’s Aim runs free cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training sessions in the community as part of its work to reduce deaths from undiagnosed heart conditions in young people.
The Year 10 students at Coombeshead Academy were ‘inspired’ by the session, according to their teacher Anna Salmons , and said they wanted to hold a fundraising raffle at the school.
They designed a poster and have obtained raffle prizes donated by local businesses, including CeX, Scott Cinemas, Sports Direct, Pizza Cafe, Happy Paws, Sports Direct and Bungle Ltd.
The draw will take place on July 9.
