ORGANISERS of Teignmouth Air Show have announced which aircraft are scheduled to appear at this summer’s show.

The iconic Red Arrows display team are confirmed for the July 5, appearing in Teignmouth for the first time.

This year’s show is only the second since its launch in 2019, having been cancelled since then due to Covid restrictions.

Now the team behind the show has also confirmed the appearance of the Second World War bomber the Avro Lancaster.

Also due to fly is the Raven Display Team, formed in 2014, who fly a close formation display.

Completing the line-up is the Starlings Aerobatic team who provide ‘high octane’ close formation manoeuvres.

The show has been able to go ahead thanks to an outpouring of financial support to meet the £20,000 shortfall, saving the event from cancellation. Within 36 hours of the appeal being launched, donations and sponsorship had come flooding in to meet the shortfall.
