DESIGN details for a greenfield development for more than 100 new homes at New Road, Teignmouth, have been agreed – but not everyone is happy with the result.

Teignbridge Council planning committee deferred the matter last November, whereupon developer Bovis Homes Ltd, promptly went to appeal.

It then submitted a rejigged plan which was considered by the committee on Monday, promising to withdraw the appeal if it succeeded.
