REECE Sicklemore, of no fixed address, appeared on video link before South Devon Magistrates in Torquay on Tuesday, in connection with an alleged murder in Teignmouth.

Sicklemore is charged that without unlawful or reasonable excuse he obtained credit on an offender's telephone and arranged a taxi, with intent to impede the apprehension or prosecution of an offender.

The charge alleges that 24-year-old Sicklemore committed the offence at Bishopsteignton on January 24.

William Parkhill, representing Sicklemore, made no application for bail.

The bench adjourned the case until Tuesday, March 15, at Torquay, for committal proceedings.

Sicklemore was remanded in custody.
