REVISED plans have been put forward for a new development of more than 70 homes on the eastern edge of Teignmouth.
Initially, 24/01892/MAJ had sought permission for 81 dwellings at land north of New Road, pictured.
The application, which also includes open space, landscaping and site infrastructure, is seeking permission for 50 houses and 25 apartments, including one, two, three and four bedroom properties.
According to the planning statement, the proposed new homes will be built ‘entirely for affordable housing purposes and will include a mix of dwellings for social rent and shared ownership’.
A number of objections were lodged against the 81 home application, including from Teignmouth Town Council.
