AN URGENT appeal has been launched for the return of three of Dawlish Warren’s popular go karts.
The thefts happened over two days and now a reward has been offered for information.
On October 12 at about 7.30pm, one of the bullit fast karts was stolen.
Two more were taken the following evening October 13 at about 8pm.
Since then, there have been sightings of the karts at Starcross, Exeter, Whipton Village Road and Summer Way.
A spokesman for Grand Prix Go Karts said: ‘We are offering a cash reward of £500 for information that leads to the recovery of all three karts as we believe it is the same group of people on both evenings.
‘If you have any information on the whereabouts or know of someone trying to sell the karts or parts, please contact us via messenger.
‘We have no interest in pressing charges we just need the karts back ready for half term as losing three is half the fleet of fast karts.
‘Do not attempt to recover them yourself.’
Police have been informed of the thefts.
