Teignmouth Royal National Lifeboat Institute (RNLI) has installed a lovingly crafted Remembrance tribute on the Den.
The garden is made up of knitted and crocheted poppies, which were all handmade by volunteers. The poppies feature all 335 names listed on Teignmouth’s War Memorial on the leaves.
The poppy garden has been installed around the stone urn presented by Belgian refugees who stayed in Teignmouth during the First World War
It was put in place for the first time last year as part of the RNLI 200th anniversary commemorations.
Members of the public will be able to pause and reflect at the garden between dawn and dusk until November 20.
The garden was assembled and installed by a team of RNLI volunteers led by Anne Steele Arnett.
