Drivers in and around Teignbridge will have five National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

But the news isn't too bad, with all of them only expected to cause slight delays, of less than 10 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

A38, from 7pm November 13 to 6am December 6, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Linhay to Goodstone lane closure closure for 3rd party (E and JW Glendinning Ltd) for, junction decommissioning works.

And a further four closures will begin over the next two weeks:

A38, from 8pm December 3 to 4am December 4, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 both directions Splatford Split to Haldon Hill - lane closure for barrier/fence safety repairs.

A38, from 8pm December 5 to 4am December 6, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 westbound, Pearces Hill to Kennford - lane closure for barrier/fence safety repairs.

A38, from 8pm December 8 to 4am December 9, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Chudleigh Station to Harcombe - lane closure for barrier/fence safety repairs.

A38, from 8pm December 15 to 4am December 16, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 westbound, Belvedere exit slip road closed for signage works. Diversion via A38 westbound to Harcombe Cross and return to exit.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
