BOVIS Homes and Devon County Council have been accused of bending the rules, broken promises and riding roughshod over everyone because of the three months’ closure of the B3344 Bovey Tracey-Chudleigh Knighton road.<

Residents Phil Page and Roger Brothwood maintain the closure at Bradley Bends – for work on road realignment, laying a rising main, two drains and a culvert for the Williams Gate housing development – has extended well beyond the limit permitted by the county’s traffic closure order.
