FIREFIGHTERS in Bovey Tracey were called into action on Sunday afternoon following reports of a fire in the Scout Hut car park.
Crew were mobilised just after 3.30pm after multiple calls to Devon & Somerset Fire and Rescue Service of a vehicle on fire.
Once on the scene, crews confirmed the vehicle was ‘well alight’.
The crew extinguished the blaze using a hose reel jet.
The incident was wrapped up just before 5pm, with Devon & Somerset Fire and Rescue Service saying the vehicle was 70 per cent damaged due to fire and smoke.
