TRISH?DAVIES, of Crokers Way, Ipplepen, writes:
One of our favourite walks is along the sea wall in Teignmouth.
Lately, however, we have had to leap out of the way of cyclists whizzing along the wall, despite cycling being prohibited.
Have these cyclists – often adults with young children – not seen the No Cycling signs at the start of the path? Admittedly the signs are quite small.
Perhaps a larger sign painted on the ground would deter cyclists from this highly dangerous and illegal activity, which can incur a fine of £1,000.
This seems rather an empty threat as there is no way of identifying the culprits.MORE LETTERS IN OUR DIGITAL EDITION
