THE popular walk along Teignmouth sea wall is unlikely to be open for the summer.
The one-mile route alongside the railway line to Smugglers' Cove at Holcombe has been closed since the sea wall took a battering from the sea in the winter storms, and sections of the cliff collapsed.
Now Network Rail has confirmed that the path was scheduled to be closed until September while work continued to shore up the cliff.
