NEWTON Abbot power-lifter, Shachar Head, set four new world records and became the new European Champion for her age at the World Drug Free Power-lifting Federation's European Championships in Bournemouth.

The 14-year-old from Audley Rise, came fifth against more experienced opposition, posting the fourth highest combined lift. But when her age and weight are taken into account, Shachar's cumulative total of 332.5kg set another European and world record.
