ASHBURTON Rollers group has found the last £5,000 needed to make its skate park dreams come true thanks to an appeal in the Mid-Devon Advertiser.

Quarry firm Glendinning spotted the plea for help and has come up trumps with the cash.

Rollers' chairman Deborah Sterling said: 'Glendinning offered support in kind at an early stage of the project for which we were very grateful.

'But when it became clear that we still needed cash to reach out target they stepped in with this generous offer.

'This means we now have all the funds in place ready for our project partners, Teignbridge Council, to let the contract for the final design and build of the skate park.
