A CHUDLEIGH surgery is set to expand by providing a new consultation room.

Submitted by CB Design on behalf of Tower House Surgery, the application - reference 25/02031/FUL - sought permission for a single storey rear extension to for an additional consultation room.

‘The additional room will aid the surgery in expansion of the necessary important care for the community of Chudleigh and the surrounding areas’, the design and access statement for 25/02031/FUL says.

And Teignbridge District Council have given the green light.

‘The development hereby permitted shall begin before the expiry of three years from the date of this permission’, the council said.

The existing surgery on Market Way is of masonry construction and is finished with render.

The proposed extension, measuring approximately 3.6 metres by 4 metres, will be rendered to match the existing building .
