Gardens in Dawlish and Bovey Tracey came up trumps in this year’s Teign Housing in Bloom competition.

Sam Kelly from Dawlish won the ‘individual garden’ category. Judges were impressed with the way he had balanced healthy and well-positioned plants alongside a usable garden for his wife and children.

The container category was won by Anne and Chris from Bovey Tracey. With the helo of their son, Andrew, the couple have created a charming and incredibly well-maintained array of containers in a small space.

Teign Housing was unable to award a prize in the communal garden category as no entries had been received.

Each winner was presented with a cup engraved with their name, a certificate and a £25 National Garden gift card
