RESIDENTS across the Teign Valley are being invited to a free screening of The People’s Emergency Briefing at Teign Valley Community Hall in Christow.

The new film brings together leading UK experts to explain the latest scientific evidence on the climate and nature crisis, its effects on everyday life and what can still be done.

Organiser Steve Vercoe said the event is open to everyone and no prior knowledge is required.

He also confirmed that there is no need to book in advance, with people welcome to simply turn up.

The large community hall offers plenty of space for attendees.

Organisers say the event is not a campaign meeting, but an opportunity to hear from experts, reflect on the issues and discuss what they could mean for the local community.
