Teignbridge's motorists will have 18 road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.
And two of them are expected to cause moderate delays – with drivers facing waits of between 10 minutes and half an hour.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:
And a further 17 closures will begin over the next seven days:
• A38, from 7pm September 26 to 6am October 1, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 westbound, Ashburton lane closure/convoy working for resurfacing.
• A38, from 8pm September 26 to 6am October 1, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Chudleigh Knighton lane closure for drainage works.
• A38, from 8pm September 26 to 5am September 27, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Drumbridges to Clay Lane lane closure for resurfacing.
• A38, from 8pm September 27 to 6am September 30, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 westbound, Ashburton, Peartree, junction exit and entry slip road closures for resurfacing, diversions via Dart Bridge.
• A30, from 7pm September 28 to 6am September 30, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 both directions Fingle Glen to Alphington lane closures for resurfacing.
• A30, from 8pm September 29 to 4am October 1, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 westbound, South Tawton lane closure for vegetation works.
• M5, from 10pm September 29 to 6am September 30, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 30 to 31 lane closure for drainage works.
• A38, from 7pm September 30 to 6am October 1, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Drumbridges exit slip lane closure for barrier repairs.
• A38, from 8pm September 30 to 5am October 1, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 westbound, Goodstone to Peartree lane closure for carriageway repair.
• A38, from 7pm October 3 to 6am October 11, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 westbound, Peartree junction, Ashburton to Dart Bridge carriageway closure for resurfacing, diversion via B3352, Buckfastleigh Road and Dartbridge Road.
• A30, from 10pm October 3 to 2am October 4, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 westbound, Ide lane closure for vegetation works.
• A38, from 11pm October 4 to 6am October 5, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Goodstone lane closure for carriageway improvements.
• A38, from 7pm October 5 to 6am November 3, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A38 eastbound, Goodstone exit slip road closure for carriageway improvements, diversion via A38 eastbound to Drumbridges, A382 and A383.
• A30, from 7pm October 7 to 6am October 8, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 eastbound, Whiddon Down to Cheriton Bishop lane closure and convoy for carriageway surfacing works.
• A30, from 7pm October 10 to 6am October 11, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 eastbound, Cheriton Bishop to Fingle Glen lane closure and convoy for carriageway surfacing works.
• A30, from 10pm October 10 to 2am October 11, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 westbound, Ide lane closure for vegetation works.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
