Teignbridge's motorists will have six road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.
But the news isn't too bad, with all of them only expected to cause slight delays, of less than 10 minutes.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that six closures are due to start over the next two weeks:
• A38, from 7pm September 18 to 6am November 13, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Linhay to Goodstone 24hr lane closure for S278, junction improvement works. Minor local authority, junction closed, eastbound, traffic diverted via Goodstone junction. Westbound, traffic diverted via A38 westbound to Linhay and return to Goodstone to exit.
• A30, from 8pm September 18 to 5am September 19, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 31 exit slip, lane closure for electrical works.
• M5, from 8pm September 20 to 5am September 21, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 30 to junction 31 lane closure for electrical work.
• A38, from 8pm September 20 to 6am September 22, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 westbound, Kennford lane closures for structure maintenance.
• A38, from 7pm September 25 to 6am September 28, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 Both Directions Dartbridge to Lower Dean lane closures for surveys.
• M5, from 8pm September 25 to 5am September 28, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 30 to junction 31 lane closure for drainage.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
