Thousands of Muse fans descended on Teignmouth at the weekend to support the internationally renowned supergroup's homecoming gig in two aptly named Seaside Rendezvous concerts on the Den.
'I now think Muse have many more fans than they did a few days ago. A lot of the crowd were not Muse fans – a lot of local people and also from the surrounding areas.
'It was great to see in non-fans' faces the look of joy and surprise.
'I think many people from Teignmouth now realise just how big, great, amazing and spectacular Muse are.
'Many thanks to everyone from Teignmouth for making us feel welcome. You are great people who know how to enjoy yourselves. I would like to return for a holiday sometime – maybe when there's a bit more availability in the B&Bs.'

'Felt choked at having to leave Teignmouth. There was such a relaxed atmosphere, but everyone was so keyed up over Muse. We wandered around the shopping centre and in every shop you went in they were talking about Muse.
'There were Muse bits and pieces everywhere, welcome signs, themed cafe menus. The pubs last night were playing Muse. It was just Muse heaven really.'
