NEARLY 200 brave souls ventured out in unfriendly weather over the bank holiday to raise more than £7,000 for the Dartmoor Search and Rescue Team (DSRT) based at Ashburton.

Miserable quantities of rain made the Sunday tramp from Haytor Quarry to Shaldon a less than comfortable excursion – but it did not deter most of the hardy Templer Way Challenge die-hards.
