THE FOUNDERS of female-owned co-working space and events space in Dawlish are getting into the Christmas spirit.
The Good Space, which was launched this summer by three local freelance designers, is hosting several festive events to support local craftsmanship and creativity.
Their premises at the two-floor, former furniture warehouse on Exeter Road, next to Lady’s Mile Holiday Park has two events lined up including its first Artisan Christmas Makers Market.
Artisan sellers include cult Devon brands such as Lorna Ruby, Cake or Death, organic skin care brand Wild Rising, handmade ceramics by Wren Pottery, Cabinet Jewellery and Teignmouth-based artist Angela Rimmer.
Co-Founder Kate Huggard said: ‘Our aim at The Good Space is to bring people together – whether to work, create or just connect.
'This winter we’re doing just that: from buying local and crafting together to celebrate our first Christmas at The Good Space. We’re excited to see Dawlish become a hub of creativity, even more this season.’
The Artisan Christmas Makers Market is being held on Sunday November 30 from 11am to 4 pm.
And a Christmas Bauble Painting Workshop takes place on Thursday December 4 7.30 to 9,30pm at a cost of £25 per person.
