SIX strong teams flocked to Newton Abbot’s Clock Tower on Wednesday evening to take part in a gruelling challenge, writes Sam Hall.

The town’s tractor pull, part of the carnival week, saw people come together to try and drag a seven-and-a half-tonne piece of farming machinery.
