A NEW illustrated map to promote Teignmouth town centre has been blasted by some traders for errors and omissions.

They are annoyed because several businesses have been left out, and many facilities and attractions not listed.

Melissa Middleton, of the Whistle stop Cafe at the railway station, who is a big charity fundraiser, said: 'It's an unimpressive piece of toilet paper that could have been drawn by a child.

'It is a waste of money and should be scrapped.'
