TRAIN services are back running along the line at Dawlish following two areas of damage caused by Storm Ingrid.
Two sections of the wall which runs between the line and the footpath were breached during the storm which hit on Friday night.
Engineers from Network Rail worked around the clock to clear the damage and debris which had landed on the tracks and surrounding area.
The part of the wall affected was not part of the new wall constructed following the storm in 2014 which washed away the entire wall and left the line hanging in mid air.
The affected area was not due to be worked on until 2030.

A spokesman for Network Rail said today: ‘There is still some work going on to repair damage on railway land, notably on the footpath between Dawlish and Dawlish Warren, which we’ve had to close off for the time being.
'Services were back up and running on one line from the start of Sunday morning, with a speed restriction in place until the necessary route proving, inspections and clearance work had been carried out.
‘Both lines were back up and running by 5pm on Sunday and services are operating this morning.’
