Three Teignmouth teenagers have been sporting a new look this week after shaving their heads for charity in a gesture of solidarity with a friend who is receiving treatment for bone cancer.

James Goode, Oliver Bates and Jim Ludlam, who are all 14, have so far raised more than £400 for Cancer Research UK.

They had their heads shaved at Teignmouth's New Quay Inn and have been busy collecting for the charity ever since.

Their friend, Alex Watterson, also 14, was diagnosed with bone cancer earlier this year.
