RUSH-HOUR traffic was held up for an hour after a two-car shunt near Penn Inn yesterday (Thursday).

The collision on the Newton Abbot-bound carriageway happened just in front of an ambulance, whose crew checked over the drivers who were not hurt.

The accident happened just before 5pm and the road was reported clear by 6pm
