A UNICORN and Morris dancers were among the attractions at this year’s Eat Festival in Dawlish.

Residents and visitors turned out to enjoy a host of food and drink on offer during the day.

Mayor of Dawlish Cllr Anne Heywood, said: ‘Eat Festival is a very well organised event funded by Dawlish Town Council.

‘The atmosphere was brilliant.

‘As well as speaking with residents and stall holders, I met dancers from Grimspound Border and Alexia Love, the Unicorn. Her glitter is a special bio-glitter, David Attenborough approved, holding much magic.

‘The Strand was really busy, which benefits our ‘bricks and mortar’ businesses too. I hope everyone had a successful and enjoyable day out.’
