War medals, jewellery and a laptop computer were among a haul worth approximately £2,600 stolen from a house in Denbury.

The break in took place on Saturday, March 19, between 8pm - 10pm and police have issued an appeal for witnesses.

Distinctive items taken include two solid silver frog ornaments and a solid silver frog on a keyring. A lady's gold watch by Michael Herbelin and a black and silver pair of opera glasses were also stolen as were the medals, a large quantity of jewellery and jewellery boxes.
